Missions

Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.  Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field."

Missions is not the ultimate goal of the Church.  Worship is.  Missions exist because worship does not.  Worship is ultimate, not missions, because God is ultimate, not man...  Where passion for God is weak, zeal for missions will be weak.  Churches that are not centered on the exaltation of the majesty and beauty of God will scarcely  kindle a fervent desire to "declare His glory among the nations" (Psalm 96:3).

-John Piper, Let the Nations Be Glad

Short-term Mission Trips

The Southern Territory offers many opportunities for you to become involved in missions through the territorial youth department. There are three short-term trips and the summer service corps, a 6-week opportunity.

But the territory also provides short-term trips for local bodies within your corps or division!
